Accurate weapon aim?

Hi guys, I’m trying to set up my character with a torch atm. I have created the AimOffset and this works great when the character is stood still, however since i don’t have an animation set for him holding the torch, I decided to create a still pose, and layer it over the state machine using a blend per bone, from the shoulder down. This looks good but because it is effectively a rigid arm attached to a moving body, it has a lot of ‘wobble’ when he moves, meaning that the torch sways all over the place and is quite useless. My question is; is there a way to ‘steady’ his arm in BluePrints? e.g. setting his lower arm bone to face the control direction more tightly. Or will i have to create a whole new set of animations with him holding the torch, and give him a steadier arm?

In the screenshots the green tracer is the control direction, and the red tracer is where the torch will actually be facing. you can see when he’s stood still they match up fairly closely, and the slight wobble from his breathing actually adds to the realism, but when hes moving it’s miles off.
