Audio goes out on the Oculus Rift headphones even if -nohmd is passed on the commandline
Enabled the Oculus plugin, plug in a Rift, launch game in standalone with -nohmd and audio will go out of the Rift instead of the computer speakers. This breaks games that want to support 2d and VR launching in Steam.
It may apply to the steamvr plugin as well, I haven't checked (I think there they handle things by changing the system audio).
I was able to reproduce this issue on our end. I have written up a report and I have submitted it to the developers for further consideration. I have provided a link to the public tracker. Please feel free to use the link provided for future updates.
