Audio goes out on the Oculus Rift headphones even if -nohmd is passed on the commandline

Enabled the Oculus plugin, plug in a Rift, launch game in standalone with -nohmd and audio will go out of the Rift instead of the computer speakers. This breaks games that want to support 2d and VR launching in Steam.

It may apply to the steamvr plugin as well, I haven’t checked (I think there they handle things by changing the system audio).

Hello, what has happened to this issue? The target fix version has been pushed further with every release, the last one was 4.19 but now it got removed completely. Is this still being looked into?
(Still an issue in 4.17 and we have a bunch of players complaining)
