[Bug] Changing Play Rate of Anim Sequence, Need To Trigger Anim Montage to Update It's Blend Out

Dear Friends at Epic,

#Repro

  • Make an anim sequence or have 1
  • Have or make a montage for this anim sequence, playing in a FullBody slot (easier to see)
  • Set the montage blend in and out times to something like 0.1 or 0.25

test in game to see that the anim montage is playing properly

  • now change the anim sequence play rate to be faster, like 1.5

go in game, and you should notice that the anim montage blend out is not working correctly and the skeleton is briefly assuming the ref pose at the end

  • now trigger an update in the anim montage by setting the blend out to something else, and then put it back to the desired amount

now when you go back in game, the faster playing anim sequence should blend out on the montage correctly

#Summary

It would be nice if the montage was automatically triggered to update when its anim sequence has its play rate changed

#Further Research

I have not tested what happens if you make the anim sequence play for a longer duration by making the play rate slower
