I’m getting some very annoying and consistent crashes when attempting to tweak any sort of value in the mesh viewer window on numerous meshes. At first I noticed it when attempting to apply materials to meshes that have multiple material IDs (2 or 3 at most) but now it appears that even tweaking other things such as lightmap size, or just playing around with checkboxes will result in an almost guaranteed crash which is really impeding my workflow I’m up to date on my latest graphics card drivers GTX560. My stats are as follows:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Intel Core i7-3930k CPU @ 3.20GHz
GeForce GTX 560 Ti
8GB RAM
I have never had consistent crash issues with any previous version of Unreal until now. This started with 4.14 and I was hopeful that 4.14.1 would fix my troubles but no such luck. Please let me know what I can do as I would prefer not to roll back to an older version of Unreal. Thank you!
Without the callstack I can’t say I’m 100% sure, but I still think your descriptions and your GPU shows you are experiencing the same crash discussed in the forum.
Please check the forum thread, and try the QFE when it’ll be available. I hope it will fix your crash.
