Child blueprints reverting to parent values
Same deal as here. Still occurring on 4.14, and this bug seems to go back a shockingly long way.
Children of a blueprint will have all their variables reset to parent values within their blueprints. Sometimes it will only be some of the children, sometimes it will be all of them. I have not been able to determine a reason for why this occurs, and none of the other threads have helped either.
Additionally, these same blueprints have values that can only be edited on a per level basis, and I've found that sometimes I will reload a level with them in it, only to find that all those values have been reset as well. I've had to start saving a second copy of each level because it's so regular that the level just saves a version with all those values cleared.
I have not been able to determine why either of these happens, my editor is not crashing or otherwise exiting ungracefully, and this bug seems to go back all the way to 2014 over multiple threads. Has there been any progress on finding a solution to this issue?
Apparently there are multiple causes of the issue and they're just playing whack-a-mole with them over there. I've been having it too, since the dawn of time. Every new version, the issue is fixed for some of my actors, and starts to occur on other actors that didn't have the issue before. I'm starting to think it'll never be fixed, to be honest. It is the worst.
