Exporting texture from SceneCaptureComponent2D crash

I have set up a scene Capture Component which is rendering to a target texture.

It works great but when I attempt to export the resulting texture, it causes a crash each time.

I recreated the issue which still caused a crash.

Scene component 2D is rendering a skeletal mesh sitting in the world to a texture.

Texture is typically @ 2048x2048. I tried changing the resolution of the texture to 1024x1024 which didn’t seem to help the crash.

What I’m doing exactly, is in the asset browser, I am right clicking and exporting the texture.

When I ran a test on my end I was able to export the render target to my desktop successfully.

After looking at your log data I saw that you are using Driver version 353.90 which is pretty old. I recommend that you update your drivers.

If that doesn’t fix your issue could you provide a screenshot of your Render Target settings?
