Packaging failed 4.14

link textI have packaged projects on this computer in the past with Unreal 4.13 and 4.12. Here is what the Output log said.

I have looked at this answer GenerateProjectFiles.bat not found Windows SDK 8.1 - Programming & Scripting - Epic Developer Community Forums and added following path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.1\Windows Performance Toolkit" under environmental variables and it is still not working.

Thank you for any help you can give me,

Hello mercuriusfm,

Although you did add that environment variable, are you sure that you do indeed have the Windows 8.1 SDK installed? In most cases, that environment variable should be added when it is installed so it may not be. If it is installed and you’re still experiencing this error, can you post the entire log file from this packaging attempt? There may be more information. Also, please include the UnrealBuildTool log that is listed in the message you provided. It can be found inside of the following directory:

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Unreal Engine\AutomationTool\Logs\

We haven’t heard from you in a while, mercuriusfm. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, have you tried what I mentioned in my last comment? If so, what were the results? In the meantime I’ll be marking this issue as resolved for tracking purposes.

thanks! It was the sdk that needed updating
