Create a static mesh function bugged with mirrored objects

When creating a static mesh from multiple meshes in the editor, the normals get reversed in the created piece for objects that are mirrored across one of the axis. Basically it makes certain meshes invisible in the editor, turns them inside out.

This is a known issue reported here: Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (UE-39912)

The steps listed here are how I could successfully reproduce the issue. If you have another way to produce the same issue let me know and I’ll update the ticket.
