Default.ini writable permissions message bug

I go to Project Settings, and want to go Binding → Action mapping: When i do whatever, add, delete edit any action, i get an error message saying: “Could not make /… my projectpath/DefaultInput.ini writable”. But it has writeble permission and the changes i made are taking place… Sorry for my bad english, but although i get the message error, it does what it has to do.

In Editor settings for example i dont get this error message and i have the same permissions in the same folder.
Im using Ue4Editor 4.14.1 for Linux in Ubuntu 16.04 with i5 3470 and 8 gb ram.

Thanks again.

Make it a great day

Well my bug happens in another setting option of project. By the way and just to know i have never met til yesterday, but i get the same toast message changing the editor preference settings ( i wanted to open blueprint’s editor in the main window instead of new window).

This is a known issue.
Which also affects the latest build from 4.15 branch.

Any news on if the fix makes it to 4.15 or not?

Hello NuLL3rr0r,

This issue has not yet been resolved and does not currently have a listed “target fix”. This being the case it would appear that this will not make it into the 4.15 release as things stand currently.
