Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

engine not launched

link textHello there, Just installed UE4 on Win 7 on a Mac, partitioned with Bootcamp (I have El Capitan on one partition, and Win 7 in the other). Here I talk about the UE4 installed on Win7 parition. After a problematic install (solved, stuck at prerequisites), the engine doesn't load. The Launcher opens just fine, and downloads content from the marketplace and runs it without issue. However launching the Engine on its own does nothing, the button appear as busy for an instant and then get back to "launch" state, as if I didn't click on it at all. Verified the installation and it seems to be fine. Really no idea what to do. Added logs for you to have a look at. LEt me know if you need anything else. Thanks. M
