Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Progress bar visibility / percentage stops visually updating

This was working correctly when I had it on the character, so I know the logic is sound, but after moving it to the widget and updating all the references, the progress bar can no longer be re-hidden/set back to 0 percent. I added some print strings, and the values are updating as I would expect them to via their bindings, however it is not visually updating on the screen.

Hello Morkath

I was unable to reproduce this issue on our end. I do not see in your example where Disable Cast Bar is called. I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?

  2. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?

  3. Could you provide screen shots of any blueprints/widgets/settings that may be involved with this issue?

The flow is basically in the controller, Enable cast bar -> do some other stuff -> delay for X seconds -> Disable cast bar. Everything is firing correctly, and if I print out the values for visibility and percentage after my event fires, they are correct. They are just not visually updating.

Even something as simply as this does not work correctly. alt text

When I hit U, the progress bar will become visible. However when I press O, it does not disappear.

I ran a couple of tests on my end and the widget's visibility appears to change as expected. Would it be possible for you to provide a zipped down copy of a project that reproduces this issue so that I could take a closer look?

I'm having this issue also, it was working fine at one point. Next thing I know it isn't responding and there is no indication as to why as strings are showing everything ok.
