Set pivot point

Hello

I have a simpel question, but somehow I can’t solve it by my own:

I have imported a 3d model that I have exported from UDK. Now when I import it, the pivot point is wrong. Normally (so in UDK) I would just set it in the editor, but somehow I can find anything that does that. Have I simply overlooked something or does this not exist?

Currently, the pivot point cannot be permanently modified in-editor. This needs to be set in the 3D application that you export the model from.

A request for the functionality has been logged and is under consideration.

Temporary modification can be achieved with Alt+MiddleMouse.

Is there a fix yet? It’s been a couple of years and this is rather important.

Any fix? It’s a great function to have. Otherwise I’m doing it every time I have to perform a translate and the pivot is halfway across the map because of an artist F-up or otherwise.

This is now possible in version 4.12.

You can uncheck the Import Option for Transform Vertex to Absolute and this will retain the Transform, Offset, and Pivot of the included meshes.
