Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hey minegunvany-

It sounds like you're having an UnrealBuildTools error. Please try downloading the Windows 8.1 SDK which you can find a link to here: https://wiki.unrealengine.com/C%2B%2B_Troubleshooting_Guide#UnrealBuildTool_Errors

I think this is the relevant line

UATHelper: Packaging (Windows (64-bit)): UnrealBuildTool: ERROR: Windows SDK v8.1 must be installed in order to build this target.

It seems like you don't have the Windows SDK v.8.1 installed, I've had this problem before and what did the trick for me was to "repair" visual Studio, and select C++ as a language, this installed everything I needed for packaging the project, including the Windows SDK v 8.1 . Is this a C++ project? And if so, is this the first time you are packing a C++ project?
