Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hello,

Take a look at the following threads, where users were experiencing the same error messages as you:

https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/527489/updating-from-49-to-414-with-2015-community-i-get.html

https://forums.unrealengine.com/showthread.php?129679-I-need-help-creating-a-C-project

Let me know if either of those help, otherwise I can suggest some other things.

Have a great day

what do you mean by no C++?

In Visual Basic you need to install programming language packs, I was able to install the Visual C++ pack by creating a new project and finding the Visual C++ folder. After I clicked on that it brought up an option to install.

This error can be fixed by changing the windows registry to point to Visual Studio 2017. See matan19's answer in the following thread.https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/668653/visual-studio-compiler-wrong-path-how-to-change.html
