Can we have lists in Tools panel like in Quick Browser?

The Quick Browser has a nice View Options area with smaller thumbs available and the choice between Thumbs, Lists and Columns. Can that be ported to the Tools panel (particularly so the thumb size can be the same min value?)

For consistency, the UI for Quick Browser has an Eye icon with ‘View Options’ down triangle white.
The Tools panel UI has a settings icon and down triangle black.
This seems odd given the similar purpose.
An eye icon typically denotes visibility, not settings or options.
