Is Geforce 940MX adequate for hobbyish development on UE4?

Can the mobile Geforce 940MX with GDDR5 handle moderate settings of UE4 for a bearable experience? The laptop otherwise has a core i7 processor and 32GB of RAM.

Probably take a look here: $17,000,000 of Paragon content for FREE - Unreal Engine … 940mx is on the list with “low” settings for Paragon so it would be similar if you would build something with UE4.

You should get far, I use a GTX 950M, Core I5 6300HQ and 8 GB DDR3L Ram, 1 TB SSHD and I can do almost everything in Unreal egine, the only thing I can’t do is render some meshes that have a lot of things going on to render it.

heres where my problem is im trying my hand at vr dev. and i have an oculus quest 2 an i have an hp notebook with a core i7 6500u with 16gigz of ram but only has a nvidia geforce 940 and the oculus app/software minimal specs is a 970 is there anything besides buying a new graphics i can do to test my work with my quest 2? i only ask cause your answer sounded like u might know a thing or 2!
