Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

[Closed] Saving settings globally

I dont have a perforce account and i like to disable the popup permanently. I would also like to save settings permanently rather than having to configure for each project. Anyway to do this?

My request is something like a Global settings tab where we can add or favorite the settings that will affect for every new project.

Hi Satheesh,

We are currently working on implementing a new setting option to go along "Preferences" called "Editor Settings for All Projects" that will have universal settings that will stay with the editor. It will not have many options to start off, but we plan on adding more. If there is anything else you would like to see featured in a future build of Rocket, please let us know.

Thanks,

Alexander

Thats great to hear. Please include perforce setting in "Editor Settings for All Projects".

I think it would be awesome if Editor Preferences and Key Bindings were saved as part of my UE User account (like how Adobe does it) that way on any computer/project where I am logged in I get the environment set my way.
