Camera upside down in viewport, but not in VR

Hi hi,

i have a simple keyframed camera (point A to point B), animated in Unreal, within a level sequencer shot.

When viewing the cinematic viewport of the master sequencer, the camera is flipped upside down in Y and rotated in Z axis. Though when viewing the sequence in VR, the camera orientation is correct. And even when I go to manually move/rotate the camera in the default viewport, it will refresh for a split second back to the correct orientation.

So far my work around is to create a new camera and re-animate, which is not great for when im having to show the director when hes setting up a shot.

I would provide screengrabs, but I cant show this project.

Hello ,

I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  3. Could you provide screen shots of any blueprints/settings that may be involved with this issue (preferably from a clean project if possible)?

Hi Rudy, thanks for the reply, I will try to reproduce this in a new scene when im able to.

thanks!

Hi hi Rudy, ive put together a scene to try and replicate the error that i had gotten in my original post. I Havent replicated it yet, but ive stumbled onto another error…

https://vimeo.com/200295390

instead of a slight rotation to the right, the camera goes the opposite direction (in negative) to end up where i had placed the camera rotation.

not sure if i need to make another post for this one, but thought I would post it anyways… and ill keep trying at reproducing the other error.

thanks!

I will need you to create a new thread for tracking purposes for the other issue that you ran into. You can then post a link in a reply here so that someone can follow up.

Hello ,
