Object Movement Delayed Behind Gizmo in 4.2

Hey Guys,
Have a bit of an oddity here, my team mates haven’t reported the same so maybe it’s related to my system or some setting I have enabled, but here’s the gist of the problem. When I grab the movement gizmo on any object, whether a prop, a sample mesh, or custom mesh, the gizmo widget moves first, there’s a delay, and then the object snaps to where the gizmo widget is

I’ve read the AnswerHub entries that could possibly be the same situation, so I’ve already checked for “Enable Actor Snapping” and “Enable Vertex Snapping” which are both disabled. The issue seems limited to Perspective View, there’s no delay in the Top, Front, or Side views.

It’s not a huge issue but makes fine tune level building a bit of a challenge since I can’t see what my movement is doing until the object catches up. I’ve added my DxDiag to this post, I’d appreciate any pointers or suggestions to fix the issue.

Thanks for your time!

Hi DarkRider,

This is normal for a BSP objects but a Static Meshes should render in real-time. If you have the settings correct, which it seems you do, I would bet it has to do with your hardware.

With every version of UE4 we tweak and improve the rendering, so it is possible that the latest version could have tipped you over the edge performance-wise.

Thanks, TJ

I was kind of afraid of that, well, off to Newegg I go, thanks TJ
