Dynamic emissive material with mesh invisible

Hi,

I am trying to create a lighting effect using dynamic emissive materials and LPV. Currently I have a some light strip meshes that I use as my light source to illuminate my room, but I would like to have the actual mesh invisible at render time and only have the lighting/bloom effect visible in the render.

Would be great to know how to do this as well. Especially with bounce card lighting.

I’m a little late, but here’s the setup to make an invisible emissive material for LPV.

In the Material’s details you have to :

• Set Blend Mode to Masked
• Check Emissive (Dynamic Area Light)

Only one thing : The emission doesn’t display in Blueprint windows
