Soft shadows to Matinee

UE4.9.2

Okay, I have this scene with a car and one spotlight.

Problem is; shadows from side mirrors are too sharp/hard and blocky in Matinee renders.

In preview, shadows are soft.

Car and Spotlight are both Movable.

I also tried to move the spotlight closer to car and shadow is now less blocky, but still too sharp and obviously this cannot be final position for the spotlight:

So it has something to do with distance between object&shadow and light. (notice: not between object and object where shadow hits)

A small sphere doesn’t even create shadow in matinee renders:

Also tried this:

“Overriden Light Map Res” (car) 512

“Min Lightmap Resolution” (car) 256

“Distance Field Resolution Scale” (car) 3

All settings are “Epic”

Ideas? I have tried everything I can imagine for ~5 hours now and nothing seems to fix this.

Nothing? There has to be something to make movable light shadows soft in Matinee?
