SandBox project. There fall.

Hi a.katkov,

It looks like you may be getting a similar crash as this: Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (UE-34604)

If I find that the crash still occurs I will reopen the ticket. I’ll get back to you when I have more information.

.

Waiting for your answer.

While testing I did get a crash on a certain project but am still investigating the cause.

Would you mind testing this project to see if it crashes for you?

Hi, I am a.katkov

I launched apk with your “particle” on my Amazon device. Project didn’t crash.

Log from Amazon
Video from Amazon

Well, the crash is pretty inconsistent. I was only able to reproduce this crash once and now it launches successfully. I also didn’t get a crash using the test project you provided.

Is the behavior inconsistent for you as well? I noticed you mentioned that the project I sent to you didn’t crash.

On what device you run my project the “SandBox”? Project constantly crashes on “Debug Game build configuration”. How can I help you to understand the problem?

Maybe you know someone who can help with this problem?

Hey Anton

We have done additional investigating and logged a report for it here: Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (UE-41970)

We didn’t have access to the Amazon Fire Tablet for testing but it does seem to crash on any devices with older GPUs such as the Mali 400 series.

You can track the report’s status as the issue is reviewed by our development staff. Please be aware that this issue may not be prioritized or fixed soon.

Cheers,

Ed.
