Epic Games Installed to D drive, but updates will only install to C drive

I currently have version 4.13 installed to my D drive, as that is my main HDD. My C drive is a small SSD with very little space. My Epic Games launcher is prompting me to update 4.13 but when I select “update” it tells me there is insufficient storage space on C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\4.13. But C drive is not even where the engine is installed. It is installed in the D drive. My VaultCache is already in the D directory as well. How do I tell it to send updates to the correct location?

Hi JKeesRN,

That link doesn’t go anywhere. “This site cannot be reached.” And I have already searched the forums for a solution. There are solutions for installing to a different drive, which I have already done, but it seems to be that when performing updates or repairs through the Epic Games Launcher, it still tries to default installation to the C drive. So I cannot update the engine because my C drive is full. Do you know of a work around or solution?

Sorry about that, the link is now fixed. If none of the solutions there work for you, then use the contact form to submit a email/ticket to the help desk. They should be able to help you further.
