VR Editor causes player Pawn to shrink drastically

Hello, I ran into an issue where after enabling the VR Editor with the HTC , playing it and then disabling it causes the player pawn to shrink dramatically. If anybody has run into something similar and has a solution it would be greatly appreciated

Hello Oldsiren,

I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  3. Could you provide screen shots of any blueprints/settings that may be involved with this issue?

Strangely enough I opened up the project and it seemed to fix itself after a few days of not being opened, and when it was causing the issue it would still happen after I closed and re-opened the project. I tried reproducing what I did before which was check the VR Editor box in the EditorPreferences->Experimental tab and then uncheck it after I ran the editor once and played the game through the editor(VR editor). All of the player functionality was working just fine, but the player pawn was shrunken drastically even though the scaling said it was all at 1.0 for X,Y, and Z. I was using a blueprint class that derived from a C++ Pawn and all it had on there was a scene for the root & camera, and of course the camera with HMD set to true and there was nothing in the BP or C++ that was suppose to affect the Scale of it.

I am happy to hear that things are working once again. I will be converting your last comment to an answer. If the issue returns please feel free to update this thread with any information you may have on how to reproduce the issue on our end and I will be happy to assist you further.

Make it a great day
