Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Affect Base Velocity Deprecated 4.13

I was going through this tutorial https://vimeo.com/133553614 and got to the part where you use a line attractor and there's a checkbox which says 'affect base velocity' but this is deprecated in ue4.13 so was wondering what I could use instead to create the same effect.

Thanks in advance!

For futur people seaching for an answer:

You can mimic the Line Attractor by using a Point Attractor. Just toggle off positive and negative Z and you get the line. You can toggle on affecting base velocity and toggle off Strength by Distance. Use 2000 for Distance and Strength and you should get similar results
