Is it possible to create a custom component with BP

Is it possible to create a custom component with Blueprint ? Or in general is it possible to create a blueprint based on a class which is not listed in the “Pick Parent Class” dialog ? (Components,Volumes,…)

We don’t currently allow blueprinting of components though we hope to have that functionality exposed in the not too distant future.

Volumes, when blueprinted, cause many issues that need to be resolved before we expose them, but they also are something we intend to permit when other higher priority issues allow.

Is this still an issue in 4.10? I cant seem to be able to extend custom components just yet.
