Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Audio Cutting out when Other Audio Plays

Hey, I've been putting audio into a level and have encountered an issue where, for seemingly no reason at all, an audio file will refuse to play when another sounds before it/ when it should be playing. I have set the priority on all sounds to 1, which should even them all out, but still knowing which sounds will decide to play can be a gamble. A particular sound that cuts out is a component of an actor and is continuously looping so it can't be the triggering of the sound that is faulty. I am inexperienced in audio in UE4 at the moment, and would appreciate any help; I may be missing a staple in setting up or something. Thanks in advance

Did you end up finding a solution to this issue? I'm also experiencing the same problem you've described here in my 4.14 project
