Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Where can I find the content from the Tools youtube video?

I am brand new to Unreal Engine 4 and have been loving it so far. I have watched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9hwhH7upYFE

which is a video showing off the tools. I was wondering where I could get that content? I have already found most of it in the content examples but one thing I really want to use. It looks like a high tech glass window at the 4:18 mark.

I want to use that and see if it is possible to put an animated video on it when a player steps on the button? Thanks

Hey Airwaves,

Some of the content from that video is currently available in Content Examples, spread across a few different levels. Much of it has not been released, however, including the window you're looking for. I don't know if there is currently a plan to release this level as a whole or the assets in different levels, but I will put in a request for it.

You can take a look at how to use a surface as a monitor using the SceneCapture component in the Blueprint Office project, available in the Marketplace.

Awesome, thank you. All I need is something to show videos that I have so that should work, I will check it out.
