Im getting an error

(Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place) Okay so I’ve have an exam on designing a game, and I didn’t want to use scratch or something like that… anyways… my issue is that my unreal engine 4 crashes straight after 96% on any project and tells me this - “Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource. Make sure your video card has the minimum required memory, try lowering the resolution and/or closing other applications that are running. Exiting…” I’ve tried lowering the laptops resolution to the lowest it can get, and UE4 got to 97% and gave the same error. I also didn’t have any programs opened when I was trying this.

My laptops specs - Windows 7 Professional Intel Core i3-2330M Intel HD Graphics 3000 (I know the performance will be bad but I still hope it can be solved) 64-bit operating system 4GB DDR3 Memory

Please help me out, ive had a mac which just gave a crash report and now this…

Hi Arthur,

You are simply running out of memory while trying to load the engine. As you can see from our recommended hardware page if you choose to develop on a laptop with an integrated graphics card it would be in your best interest to have more than our minimum recommendation of 8GB of RAM.

You have 4GB and are using an integrated GPU so while it is a shame I think your machine simply can’t handle the load.
