I’m a 2nd Year University Student and for our Games Group Project our team have decided to make a 2 player puzzle game where 1 player uses a Gamepad and controls their character at a third person view, while the other player uses a VR headset and can see from above.
We’re currently stuck on how possible this is, so I’ll just ask the 3 main questions that we’re continuously asking ourselves:
- Firstly, is something like this even possible in Unreal? (I doubt it wouldn’t be)
- We read that we may need to use 2 monitors during development, is this true?
- Is this possible to achieve without split screen?
