Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

[Request] Timeline / Matinee for Group Nodes

Hi there,

Once my other thread pertaining to Matinee / Timeline is somewhat explained, I'd like to recommend being able to use timeline to move group nodes and the actors contained in them. So, let's say I wanted to create a hydraulic crane that was moving a stack of palettes under a baseboard. (Like this). It'd be easier to group all that stuff together, and then feed the group node to matinee, than try to fiddle around and approximate the actors one on top of the other. Using timeline / matinee, you could translate, rotate or even scale the actors as a unit.

Hey Markus,

You should actually be able to do this by attaching the others to one then moving that one in the matinee. It will move everything attached to it as well. Let me know if this is what you were looking for.

Best Regards,

Ryan
