Anim Dynamics scales Bones down to invisibility

Hi,

I’ve been trying to get Anim Dynamics to work for quite some time now. I planned to use it mainly for Hair meshes simulating braids and tails and stuff.
I’ve got a simple test mesh that is rigged and ready to go. But when I apply Anim Dynamics in the Anim BP the simulated bones just disappear. I’ve tried playing around with the settings but I can’t figure out, what is causing that.
Maybe some of you have had similar problems and can help me with that.
I’ve attached a screenshot of the mesh how it normally looks and with anim dynamics applied to it.

Had the exact same problem. Its happening because there is scaling going on above that bone in the skeleton tree. Anim Dynamics assumes all joints have a scale of 1. You can use the Transform Bone node to counter the scaling issue. There might be a better way but this worked for me.
