Editor crash on re-importing mesh with different Material IDs

Editor crash on re-importing mesh with different material IDs quantity.

Steps to reproduce:

  • create and export any static mesh without material applied
  • import it to the Editor
  • manually add material slot in Mesh editor in UE4 (double-click on it in Content Browser)
  • re-import same mesh via Righ click → Reimport

This is a known issue that we have already fixed for 4.15. You will find the public JIRA here: Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (UE-40510)

Try testing this in the 4.15 preview and the issue should be resolved.
