Unreal Engine Launcher

Hi there guys!
I have recently purchased UE4, went to GitHub and built the engine like in the instructions.
The engine works fine (the best engine I have ever used!). I’ve also installed the Launcher to use the marketplace.
It might be a silly question, but is there a way to inform the launcher that I have already built the engine in another folder?

Hi Mickelbil84 -

The Launcher is our hub for the binary version of the engine and there is no direct way to do what you want to do now, but there is a workaround for using your source built engine and still accessing the marketplace. You can cancel the download of the engine in the launcher and then download your marketplace items. Then you can open them through the Source build by browsing to the uproject file.

Thank You

Thanks for the reply! That’s what I had been doing before  I think it could be nice to add a feature like this in future updates, but this doesn’t seem to be very necessary. Thank you anyway
