Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

4.14 Crash with no crash log

After literally months of crashing like this: https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/536575/editor-memory-leak-1.html

I've begun getting crashes where there is no log. The editor just hangs with the beach ball of doom until I force-close the application.

I can't find a way to enable the crash reporter and I never disabled it. Is there a way to get the crash log back?

Hi Skifree,

The last 50 Crashes reported from your system are related to a bug reported as UE-38772. Please open a copy of your project in UE4.15 and see if this does not resolve the issue. (Be sure to open a copy and not write over your original Project.)
