Mesh distorted when applying retargeting

Hi all,

I’m trying to figure this out for a while now. My mesh is completely distorted when I apply retargeting. I’m using the UE4 Mannequin Skeleton as the Skeleton for my imported mesh. I constructed the mesh and bones in Maya LT using the same hierarchy and name convention as the Unreal Skeleton, so I thought this should work fine when I brought to Unreal. The mesh is animating, so I guess in a sense the retargeting is working, and - as you can see on the left of the screen - Unreal seems to be recognizing my skeleton, because some of the bones are white and some grey - meaning this model is not using the finger bones and such, I didn’t set them up in Maya for prototyping purposes.

I’ve already messed up with Retargeting Options (AnimScale, Animation etc) with no success. I’ve also tried to import my mesh using the UE4 Mannequin Skeleton as well as creating a new one. When I import creating a new skeleton and go through the retargeting process, it immediately recognizes the bones automatically, but I cannot share animations for some reason.

Any ideas for a solution? Thanks!

Did you ever fix this?
