UE4 VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing

I have a problem in that UE4 VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing does anyone have a solution

Have you installed the latest Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015? If not, go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 and install it. You may need to restart your computer.

Hi ,

Did you build the Engine from source code? That was the only version of the Engine where I was able to locate the file that you mentioned was missing. If so, just run Setup.bat again and it will download the missing file for you.

Out of curiosity, where were you running into an issue that told you this file was missing?

Bonjour, j’ai le même problème.
Quand je lance UE4 un message d’erreur s’affiche me disant “Impossible d’exécuter le code, cat VCRUNTIME140.dll est introuvable. La réinstallation du programme peut corriger ce problème.” J’ai donc réinstaller UE4 mais même erreur au démarrage. J’ai également installer vcruntime140d.dll dans “System32” et dans le dossier d’emplacement D’UE4. Toujours le même problème.
Merci de m’aider je viens de passer une aprèm à essayer de le faire marcher et sa commence à me saouler.

J’ai rencontré le même problème et suivi vos instructions mais j’ai toujours le même message au démarrage de UE4 “vcruntime140.dll introuvable”.
