I open the UE4 to launch a project… it doesn’t launch anymore… It did have a repair written on the button. I pushed it and it supposedly repaired it. but the last time I use the engine if was fine… 4.14 hasn’t worked since it said repair on the button… so I uninstalled ever thing, even my projects… thinking it might have been a project… welp I installed it all over again. 4.14 still didn’t work… so I installed 4.15 and It isn’t working either. Niether of them even pop a load bar or anything. itll say “preparing” and that’s it. itll go right back to Launch written on the button… push it again and the same thing happens… no error codes or anything… help please!!!

There are a few things you can try in this case:
- Navigate to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\UnrealEngine and delete the 4.14 folder. Then attempt to reinstall the editor again and try.
- Navigate to your engine installation directory’s Engine/Binaries/Win64 folder and run UE4Editor.exe to see if you can open the editor directly.
