Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Disabling emitter light source reflection

Hi! First time posting, so please excuse me if this has been answered before, I've had a good look.

I have an emitter with a GPU sprite which can't cast light, so I've added a dummy emitter to do so. The problem I'm having is that the light source casts a reflection when I just want the soft light itself in the particle system.

A fix for a similar query with light nodes is to increase the roughness but this doesn't seem to be possible for particle lights. At least, not as far as I can see.

Do you have any suggestions for what I could try? I'd be very much appreciative.
