Interp to movement bugged when used on a Paper 2D character Cont

Before I start this is a duplicate of a previous post HOWEVER it was closed and the bug never properly dealt with and therefore this post is required if the bug is ever to be fixed. Please don’t close this out of hand otherwise the bug will not get fixed and so closing this is helping nobody.

A few days ago I was making an enemy using a paper 2D character and the interp to movement component. I posted a question about it here: How do you make a floating enemy? Can it be done with interp to movement? - Character & Animation - Epic Developer Community Forums

During the question we realised the issue was due to a bug with the paper 2D character and the interp to movement component. Because of this I posted a bug report about it here: Buged movement when combining Paper 2D Character with interp to movement component - Character & Animation - Epic Developer Community Forums

The second post was required to report the bug and to bring the issue to epic’s attention. Unfortunately it was closed as a duplicate (Which it was not: One post was asking for blueprint advise the the other was a bug report)

All of the steps needed to replicate the issue are in the previous Bug Report. Again please don’t close this out of hand as this needs to be fixed at some point in the future and if it is never acknowledged that can never happen.
