AO node inconsistencies

Hello everyone,
I’m making some really simple furniture for an indoor scene. I’m facing a problem that I think to be related with the AO node in my material.

Basically it seems that the AO is way too strong/incorrect. Please, see picture:

The mesh has been made in Blender, unwrapped without overlappings, textured with Substance Painter 2. I exported a diffuse map, a normal map and a packed map with roughness, metallic and AO together as usual.

The first one is the current state, the AO is very dark. The second one is exactly like in SP2. The third one is without the AO node connected in the material.

Further things:

  • [Followed this guide from the official documentation, no luck][2]
  • Added reflection probes, no changes
  • Built lightning on production, no changes

Is this working like intended?
