Often times after finalizing a blueprint, I go through an delete old variables. I discovered today that find references is actually not finding existing variables. In the below screenshot, I am using both find references and typing ‘Rot Speed’ into the search bar, but it does not find the float variable that is in fact in the BP.

Yes, I had similar issues. Also make sure you save everything before running “find references”. Otherwise it will miss more stuff.
For example the reference to an actor wont be found if the level is not saved.
