Will UE4 be working faster with pci-e SSD drive?

If I install the OS with UE4 and project on PCI-E SSD drive, will the Unreal Editor performance increased?

It would be nice for any info about that.

Thanks!

Every time when I launch UE, I can hear my HDD is very noisy due to lots of readings from disk. If you want the engine to load faster then you can save it on the SSD. If you save the project on SSD, the time of packaging the project should be improved (at least I can see the difference).

I’m interest for pci-e ssd performance. Will be it changed if I move project from SATA SSD to PCI-E SSD? Or increase is slight?
It’s question: buy it or not?

PCI is faster than SATA so the performance should be increased. I have not tested it though.
