Could use some advice on rigging an Airplane

Trying to upload this design and could use some help.
Since this type of plane sits at a different driving angle than its “in flight” angle im not sure if i should be importing it based on its flying or on ground position (all 3 wheels touching)

Also no sure if 0.0.0 for the root bone should be IN the aircraft itself on on the floor… im thinking in the aircraft but this was done the other way.

How best to handle the 3 wheel situation with the “shopping cart” style wheel? I imagine a bone would need to be ther ebut how to handle it inside UE4 i have no idea.

This is just a rough draft project i am working on to help me learn. I want to get this plane flying soon. And i want the flaps and everything to turn and i want to be able to land it. (basic physics are all im going for here) but so far i cant get it to move in unreal so i am trying to rig it myself instead of the last car tutorial i did which basically let Unreal rig it for me.
