Bits Per Pixel (BPP) in UE 4.15?

Hey guys, I’ve been searching but couldn’t find the information and I am currently unavailable to test it myself through the Editor.
But I’m wondering, what is the Bits Per Pixel support in Unreal engine 4, latest version 4.15 if it matters?
Can someone shed some light in the area for me?

I would’ve added BPP/Bits Per Pixel as tags, but apparently they’re not present in the system.

The GBuffer is either 8 or 16 bits per channel. By default the engine profiles your comp to decide what to use. In Project Settings/Rendering/Optimization/GBuffer Format, you can force it to be one or the other.
