Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Make a particle Explosion

I try to make a particle explosion where Static Meshes fly away from a center point. The problem I have is that all the meshes fly in the same direction and not like at an explosion all away from a specific point. So what do I need to use in my particle system to make them fly away from a center point?

1 answer: sort voted first

How is your particle effect set up? You should be able to achieve this by adding a Initial velocity module to the particle effect and setting the distribution to Vector Uniform.

As an example: https://gyazo.com/d864810bcc2e6dca7f3b46c18ba9e640 Put max to 1000,1000,1000 and min to -1000,-1000,-1000.

This should give you the result you want.
