Why is Skeletal Mesh not changing LODs in viewport/persona?

I just upgraded to 4.15. I have an issue that the Skeletal Mesh is always lowest LOD (so LOD2 in my case) when I either play in editor or preview mesh in the Persona.

The mesh LOD transitions are ok in packaged game. I think this is UE-42013 issue already reported for 4.16. It also happens for 4.15 for me. So I guess this is more like a bug report than a question.

Bump. Does any else have this issue. I guess this is connected to auto-generated LODs, I use InstaLOD for that (maybe simplygon works ok).

I actually tried it in the build and it also does not work … :frowning: Does anyone else have this problem for skeletal mesh LODs?

I also have this problem. I can see lod1 and lod2, but I cant see lod 0.

I have a similar problem the lod in my tree doesnt switch when in play mode
