Android rendering

Attached are to images of how a project i set up for android looks in the editor and how it looks after i successfully build it ot my phone…the textures do not show and everything looks wierd…is there anything i am not doing right?..also the scene has few grass and two trees but building it gives a whooping 862mb but al project is only 615mb…pls help me as i need help urgently…Thanks a lot in advance

This could be due to a number of reasons… building anything from mobile requires extensive optimisation in file sizes and image formats. You also have to be weary of the complexity of your material nodes as not all functions are supported on mobile. Check out these pages for more info:

Another thing you can do in editor to preview what it would look like on device is, go to Settings > Preview Rendering Level > Mobile/HTML 5 > Android Preview

many thanks Abeysaurus for your quick reply. I will go through the links you sent for a solution. They look very promising. The android preview opened my eyes.

Thanks again

Hi i have this resolved. switching to the android preview made me know which material had issues and removed some nodes and i got it working…

Thanks a lot
