Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Slots attached to actor

Hello! I am using actually UE 4.10, i wanna make a class like a Telekinetic but i get some problems making slots for the item i grab, i would just explain without pics because it looks messy ;)

So, i have 4 scene components placed above player in a quadrat, always when LineTrace hits a component that is simulating physics it's grabbing it and turning "Holding object" ON, dropping it makes it OFF and it creates a physics handle component

Now, when i press Q and when "holding object" is true and "slot 1" is false it turns Holding object OFF and turning slot 1 ON

Q - holding object False, slot 1 true it turns slot 1 off and holding object on

Event tick updates the position of the physics handle component i create every time i hit the object with line trace

i tried many other ways but it is always bugged like for example the 1st grabbed object is hanging still in air and the new one is automaticly added to slot 1 place instead of the place of grabbed object (front of cam/player)

I have a little experience with blueprints but this is a little madness for me ;)

Hope anyone can figure it our for me and if you can't understand my infos good i can always post the code of blueprint part.
